The Complete Works Volume 1-6 presents all projects of Herzog & de Meuron within a chronology. Since the beginning, The Complete Works has been published by Birkhäuser, with Gerhard Mack as both author and editor. Meissner & Mangold designed the first two volumes. Rémy Zaugg guided the redesign of the third volume. Ludovic Balland Typography Cabinet collaborated with H&dM on the graphic design and print production of the three latest volumes.

Volume 3 covers the span of projects No. 080-152 which began in the years 1992-96.
