The ACT pendant lamp seeks to celebrate pure technical form by revealing working elements. The extruded aluminium profiles serve as a cooler to diffuse the heat generated by two LEDs facing up and downwards. The crescent shape of the fins serves to both increase dissipation area and reduce the glare of deliberately spilled light.  ACT was initially used in the Actelion Business Center, Basel.
